We will be live on Zoom this Friday, the 8th of May, at 2pm BST. We will talk a little about the origins of heraldry, some family crests which tell interesting stories, and some common heraldic symbols, before designing and making shields of our own!
To sign up for a place, please email Blythe at firstname.lastname@example.org
The events will be suitable for children aged 5+, though the younger ones may need a bit of help with the scissors, so we ask that a parent be nearby.
For this activity you will need:
– A pen/pencil/marker
– string (or ribbon, a strip of fabric – anything you have around the house)
– crayons, markers, or coloured pencils
– a stapler
– and (if possible) a piece of card or cardboard, at least as big as an A4 sheet of paper.
You will need a Zoom account to participate (free to open an account). Once you register your interest, Blythe will email you with the password and zoom session code.
