The Castle Team Dundonald Castle is owned and maintained by Historic Environment Scotland, but the Visitor Centre and Museum is run by charity, Friends of Dundonald Castle (SCIO). Castle Staff and Volunteers work in perfect harmony and are a powerful force in the community, sharing both a passion for history and a sense of responsibility to preserve Dundonald’s treasures for future generations.
