The Castle Team

Dundonald Castle is owned and maintained by Historic Environment Scotland, but the Visitor Centre and Museum is run by charity, Friends of Dundonald Castle (SCIO). Castle Staff and Volunteers work in perfect harmony and are a powerful force in the community, sharing both a passion for history and a sense of responsibility to preserve Dundonald’s treasures for future generations.

There is a fantastic team of volunteers at Dundonald Castle, and not enough room on this page to do justice to the amazing jobs that they do. They work selflessly and tirelessly all year round, to make the Castle a place for people to come together and celebrate their community. Dundonald owes them sincere thanks and is so proud of them all.
