Come and meet nobles dressed in historical period costume and talk to them about the dress and behaviour of the time.
Also view displays of weapons and hand-to-hand fighting, experiencing at close quarters some of the excitement and thrills of times past.

STEWART FAMILY TRAIL
HISTORIC SCOTLAND have arranged for a costumed performer to play the part of a courtier or family member from the court of King Robert II.
Come and ask them about life in the 14th century when the Castle was built.
Also hear about the continued associations of the Stewart family with the Castle over the 350 years when they ruled Scotland then the United Kingdom.

"A MATTER OF HONOUR"
- Come and learn about activities in and around Dundonald during the Jacobite era of the early 18th century.
- See a duel (which was illegal) being fought and discover how 'honour' was satisfied.
- Experience the intervention of a militia unit.
- Examine the costumes of the period, both military and as worn by local people.
- Hear stories of events which happened during the Jacobite Rebellion.
