Castle Admission - Adults £3.50, Adult Concessions £3, Children (aged 5-15) £1.50.

KING ROBERT AND THE GREAT LORDS OF SCOTLAND

The year is 1388.

Carrick 800 Battle Re-enactment Society are on garrison duty at the castle following the Scots' great victory over the English at Otterburn.

Witness the training of the soldiers involving combats with sword, shield and spear.

Meet the elderly King Robert II, founder of the Royal Stewart Dynasty, and learn of his difficulties with his family and the Great Lords of Scotland.

Also learn why now, within two years of his death, he is living in retirement at Dundonald Castle.

COME AND SEE THE CASTLE AND HILL BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE!
